The National Weather Service is calling for a significant snowfall beginning at about 12:00 on Friday (tomorrow) The timing of the storm is calling for significant snowfall to begin during the 12:00 hour. With a 1-2 inch per hour snowfall rate possible the Newport School District will use an early release for FRIDAY 2/202/6 to ensure transport of students and staff safely home.

Newport High School Dismissal - 11:30 a.m.

Newport Middle School Dismissal - 11:30 a.m.

Richards Elementary School Dismissal - 12:30 p.m.
