Newport School District

Due to the expected inclement weather this weekend, Saturday's (9/26) events have been rescheduled.

The varsity field hockey game at Sanborn scheduled for 11:00 am will now be played at 10:00 am. The bus will leave the high school at 7:15 am.

The varsity football game at Hillsboro-Deering scheduled for 1:00 pm will now be played at 10:00 am. The bus will leave the high school at 7:30 am.

Today's home middle school field hockey game against Monadnock has been postponed due to Monadnock not having transportation.

The rescheduled game is TBD

The varsity boys soccer game at Concord Christian scheduled for Friday, September 25 has been rescheduled for October 21 at 4:00 p.m.

The varsity girls soccer game at Concord Christian will be played as scheduled on Friday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m.

Last week, more than 100 Newport High School students took advantage of our Mini College Fair!

This event gave students the opportunity to meet directly with college admissions representatives, ask questions, explore their options, and start thinking about what life after high school could look like.

We were excited to welcome more than a dozen New England colleges and universities, along with Granite Edvance, to connect with our students and share information about the many pathways available after graduation.

A big thank-you to all of the representatives who took the time to visit Newport and invest in our students’ futures!

Friday is school picture day at the high school and middle school.

Today’s (9/21) middle school field hockey game at Monadnock has been postponed due to lack of available officials. Make up date to be determined.

Newport School Board Notice of Attendance
The School Board may attend the Back to School Event/Apple Pie Craft Fair for the purpose of community relations.  The School Board is not conducting a formal meeting.
The School Board may not attend the entire meeting time and may not all be present at the same time.  This will be part of the school district's participation in community events (community engagement).
