As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, we want to express our sincere gratitude for our wonderful school community. We are especially thankful for our students, who bring so much energy and enthusiasm to our classrooms each day. We also thank our dedicated teachers and staff, and our incredible parents and families for your continued partnership and support.
Please note that our school will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break from November 26, 2025 to November 28, 2025. We will reopen on Monday, December 01, 2025.
Middle and High School Fall Sports Celebration Night will be held in the high school cafeteria on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 5:30PM-6:30PM.

The Middle School Wrestling Team will meet with Coach Shaughnessy on November 13, 2025 from 2:20PM-2:45PM in Mr. Shaughnessy's classroom.

The Middle School "Snackin' in the USA & Poppin Popcorn" student sales begin NOW! Payment must accompany orders. Orders must be turned in by November 21, 2025. Order arrive at the Middle School around December 8th-12th.

The Newport Tigers finished the regular season at 4-4 to qualify for the Division III playoffs Saturday. The seventh-seeded Tigers will travel to Laconia to face the second-seeded Sachems at Bank of NH Stadium with a kickoff at 1:00 PM. This will be Newport's seventh straight season reaching the postseason. Please wish Coach Proper and his Tigers good luck in this year's tournament!

Well.. the shenanigans have begun at the Middle School this morning! Some of the staff paired up to characterize the MUPPETS (see photo)! Many of the Students have dressed in some creative Halloween outfits today. Ms Lori and the Admin staff will be awarding some prizes for costume categories for their AWESOME school participation! We hope to see you at the Trunk or Treat event this evening, beginning at 4PM at the Middle High School parking lot!
Reminder! Newport's 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat event starts at 4PM on October 31, 2025 at the NMHS parking lot area! This is in addition to the Town's official trick-or-treat hours from 4PM to 8PM.
